Last night, I was watching the election returns with my hubby – he loves politics and it was his birthday – and I saw a CHRISTmas commercial! I was flabbergasted! I’d say that I’d be sure not to shop there … if I only could remember WHAT they were advertising! lol
Of course, what can I expect since the school supplies in our local stores were replaced by CHRISTmas decorations – right alongside Halloween costumes. Wrong on sooo many levels!
If I’m not careful – I’m going to burn out on CHRISTmas before December and then we’ll be in trouble.
Ugh, I’m burned out already. Even Stanley thought it was disgusting when we went to Target the day after Halloween and all the Christmas decorations were up. I think we’ll escape it all and go to Yosemite.
Well, speaking as one who loves Christmas as the most blessed time of the year with the coolest decor and music – I don’t mind! Sorry honey!

I hate that Thanksgiving is not even recognized as a holiday anymore because it does not benefit the stores. CHRISTmas will not be in our house before Dec 1 – except for carols which can start on Friday after Thanksgiving.
