So, I’m doing it! I talked to my Hubs and he thought I could do it and pointed out at the end of the year, it would be nice to look back at our year this way!
But where to start? So I look around my home and I see all the things that matter to me. My Hubs, my children, even the decorations on the wall are important to me. So, I’ll start there and see where we go.
So, here we go! The first post of Project 365:
This was painted by my friend, Melanie. When she put it up for sale I knew I HAD to have it! It is one of my favorite Hymns and I love the imagery! It is a wonderful reminder to me trust Him.
The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2

Oh… Amy… I am so moved! I made this at a deep time in my life when I sang that hymn often. It brings back happy memories of God’s faithfulness and clear hand in times of strong winds and it encourages me again as the winds continue to blow. I’m so happy it encourages you too – that in itself encourages me. Love you lots! I look forward to a year in pics! <3 Melanie
🙂 The bigger picture shows the place of honor it holds on my mantle – the two other things on my mantle will come in the next few days.
I managed to finish my Project 365 last year (still need to finish posting them to facebook), but I am taking a break this year. Maybe I will do it again in 2012. 🙂
