A few weeks ago I did something I’ve never done before. I decided to join Weight Watchers. Â Well, I take that back, I had tried several years ago to do it online, but I am going to the meetings IRL – and boy, is that a different experience. Â WW sets your first few goals for you: first to lose 5% of your body weight, then 10%. Â Those numbers don’t really mean much to me – but I’m only 2 lbs from the 5% goal – so that’s sort of fun! 😉
So I was reflecting on what I want for my goals….and here is what I came up with:
- First goal – lose the grief weight – 15 lbs (only 6.8 lbs to meet that goal!)
- Second goal – lose the pregnancy weight – 20 lbs – for a total of 35 lbs
- Third goal – lose the ministry weight – 20 lbs – for a total of 55 lbs
- Fourth goal – lose the Seminary/newlywed weight – 20 lbs – for a total of 75 lbs
- Then I will re-evaluate my goals from there!Â

I so need to get back on the weight-loss wagon. I’ve gotten lazy about it, since I started working 30+ hours a week. Maybe when school starts again, and I get back on a strict schedule, it will get easier again… *sigh*
