I realize this picture is crappy…but it shows the problem.
Do you see that hole on the right side? I did something wrong didn’t i?! I followed the instructions – but I’m still thinking it’s wrong. I’ve tried to fix it a couple of times. Anyone able to help me??

I dont’ knit much, but you skipped a stitch. You need to go back to the row before that one and re do, OR you can leave it there and call it a lace hole =) My sister says, “the Amish always leave a mistake in the things they make because only God is perfect, the mistakes in a handmade item are what give it value, and the really BIG mistakes means I made it.” You can take your pick for solutions. Is there going to be an edging on this? That will cover it up. Hope this helps, Becky
Thanks Becky & Julie! I heard from some gals who’ve actually knit this pattern and they said it’s part of the pattern…and it’s been consistent…so I’m no longer worried about it! Probably time to post a new picture – though it’s sort of boring! 😉
