My DH is craaaazy about Firefly and Serenity. When it was on Fox, I just couldn’t understand it. Turns out they showed the episodes out of order and finished up with the pilot. With all the flashbacks I was totally lost. Now that we have the DVDs, it all makes sense, and I’m a fan. We’ve gotta knit the Jayne hat (“now there’s a hat that shows folks a man’s not afraid of anything”). The pattern’s online somewhere.
I just found the series and movie this year as well and loved it. Shame on Fox for cancelling it. p.s. I scored Book as well.
