I feel like a woman who has lost her mind! Normally I’m pretty calm – with the occasional flare up. But today I go from one thing to another thing and I’m barely getting ANYthing accomplished.
We are celebrating our 20th anniversary a few days early this weekend – heading to the coast to a Bed & Breakfast. Leaving the kids with Grandmas (it will be a team effort) but I, of course, need to grocery shop so said children can be fed by said Grandmas. I need to do laundry because this is NOT a clothing-optional Inn. I need to visit the bank – because I’ll probably want to spend money this weekend.
And, now, J2 is upset that he can’t throw a last minute sleep over in to the mix. I’m Mean. And, he’s not going anywhere if he can’t get his way (we need to go to Dixon for J3’s speech therapy in about 30 min). Unbeknowst to him – I can still carry him and I will carry him to the van and he WILL go with me! Right now I’m letting him chill out before I share this information with him.
Why is it that even trying to do something fun is no fun!?! Grrr
Hmm…wonder if Ft. Bragg has a yarn store??

LOL!! A clothing optional inn! You totally made me laugh! 🙂
You are not mean with a capital M for putting the kibbosh on a last minute sleep-over. Clever way to see if mom is paying attention, asking for that, huh?
You will have a great time! Aahh. Ft Bragg. Lucky you! Have a great weekend!!
Wonder no more!

Enjoy!
I’m sorry, Amy. Seems like any time we tried to do anything by ourselves when the kids were younger that we paid for it when we got home…or before we left. Hope things are better by now! And congrats on the 20 years!
