Last week I joined SparkPeople…man, is that a GREAT resource!

My personal goal for this week is exercise – M, W, F I will do 2 miles of Leslie Sansone’s Walk Away the Pounds.
I tried to talk myself out of it today – but I did it!!  And, now I’m wanting to feel good!  I’m wanting that euphoria that comes from knowing I persevered.  The high from pushing myself to do something good!  Where is it?!  I did the work – I want the payout!

Grumble, grumble, grumble!!

On an aside….I’m going to need some good podcasts to do my treadmill and other exercises…anyone have any good suggestions?

  1. Amy – I love the messages by Alastair Begg on truthforlife.com! You can also download free podcasts of John Piper too! Just a couple of suggestions – keep going!!! 🙂

If you ever find it, let me know! Been hitting the pavement for years now and have never felt it. Treadmill, too. So I just keep plugging along.
As for podcasts, there are two free ones on http://www.prevention.com under walking somewhere. I’ve been wondering about good podcasts myself. My problem is I’ve got Vista and it doesn’t play well with iTunes, so….
Just hang in there! You’re doing great!

  3. I love mythoughtcoach.com’s “get off the couch and go workout.” It’s one episode and it’s free on itunes.
