Today was a good day!

I can tell I’m recovering by how much I am able to accomplish! Today I was able to do 3 loads of laundry, clean my oven (ok, I just pushed a button, but it couldn’t get done without that crucial act), vacuumed the living room and was the foreman for the rest of the vacuuming. Also, we moved some furniture so I now have a comfy reading/knitting nest! I’m enjoying it as I type!

Hubs is not recovering as well as I am. He is on his third antibiotic (he had allergic reaction to second) and spent most of last night in his recliner so he could have breathing treatments periodically. However he still made sure the lawns were mowed, my car is cleaned out. And he took oldest two boys for hair cuts. Our oldest has reached the point of get a job or else and the first step was to graciously (ha!) accept our offer for a haircut to aid in that process. Please pray for him. He’s had some scary real-life experiences recently that I pray were the wake-up call he needed. If not, then please keep praying for us as we try to keep helping someone who needs, but doesn’t want us involved.

Time for one last chore today….cleaning the kitchen part two. If I hadn’t worked the boys so hard earlier, I’d have them do it, but it’s nice to have it clean like I like it! 😉
