MPM-Spring

Another week of food.  ugh.  Yeah, I’m not a cheerful cook. Don’t get me wrong, I like food…but I don’t really like planning and cooking.  🙁  But I do it because I love my family and I want to give them the best I can.  Plus, when we can sit down together for a meal, it sort of ‘completes’ our day.  It’s a chance to catch up and reconnect!

This blog hop is hosted by I’m An Organizing Junkie.  Go visit and if you plan your own menu, will you share it with me in the links? I’m always looking for slow cooker meals and simple, family-tested meals!

So here is my plan for this week:

  • Monday – company here – Taco Salad & Burritos (didn’t do it last week)
  • Tuesday – company here & Daddy meeting night –  Chicken Enchiladas (J3 requested)
  • Wednesday – Tijuana Topper
  • Thursday – Knit Night! – Chicken Stroganoff in the slowcooker
  • Friday – soup & grilled cheese (I am notoriously tired on Fridays)
  • Saturday – Evening church – Breakfast for dinner! (sausage, gravy, hashbrowns, and eggs (for those who can eat them)
  • Sunday – Oven-Fried chicken (my kids ask for this ALL the time!)
