Between work, family and homeschooling I’m staying pretty busy. On top of the sadness that is normal for us during this time, we did find out that my sister-in-law’s tumor is cancer and it’s malignant. She doesn’t know yet – I think they will be telling her after she recovers a bit more. I don’t know – it’s not something I’m very comfortable with – I hope no one ever keeps something like that from me!
Eric and I have been getting quite a few questions about what we want/need for JGirl. So, since we are keeping a list for ourselves we decided to put it on here for others. We are NOT asking for gifts!! If you have any suggestions, please be sure to share your thoughts – we are a bit out of practice! Here is the link – or it’s at the top of the page.
I can’t remember…did your sil have surgery? Maybe they’re waiting for her to recover a bit? I don’t know…I wouldn’t want anyone keeping anything from me, but…don’t know the situation and don’t know why they’re doing it. Just a really sad situation!

I’m so sorry to hear about your SIL. My cousin’s wife is undergoing tx right now for terminal brain cancer. I hope that your SIL’s is not terminal. Some are cancerous but treatable. Not something you want to be going through as a Newlywed (or ever!). They did not tell my cousin’s wife right away either. I made sure Hubby knew that that was not acceptable to me! I can’t imagine it!
I have a quilt top planned for Jgirl. I’m not making promises on when it will be finished! lol But I do have the top mostly done. It’s purples greens and a little bit of black and white. It’s not very babyish, but pretty and I made it in a class with Barb at QC. I have been wanting it to be for something/someone special and have never finished it because I didn’t know who it would be for. But who is more special than a miracle dolly?! :o)
