I was thinking about the years I was sewing merit badges on vests, shirts and sashes and how I would love to display my own merit badges. Just today I’m sure I earned
- Explaining to a Kindergarten (who doesn’t know how to tell time) when 4 o’clock is and why it is not now
- Convincing same Kindergartner than she CAN clean her room without my help
- Not having a single moment to myself but being OK with that
But before I wrote the post, I found this website:  Mom Merit Badge where she says “Those Mom Victories, that no one but another mother/parent would understand, deserve a Merit Badge.” Yes!

Â I love how she shares her own stories for each Merit Badge she earned! Â Sadly, She hasn’t posted any new ones since March 2013, hope she continues – it’s quite creative!

Being a mom of a couple of Boy Scouts (including an Eagle Scout) and a daughter who is now a Girl Scout Ambassadors, I know what you mean about sewing on those lovely little badges of achievements and kind of wishing we Moms could have some of our own.
