Dare I think it? Dare I say it? Are we figuring this new life with JGirl added to it? I should not have been surprised at how topsy-turvy our life has been for the last 2 weeks – but I was! Utterly and completely surprised.
It didn’t help that JGirl doesn’t really nap during the day – I think 60 min is a HUGE nap (the kind where I start to worry about her) – and I need to work during the day. Or that she stopped sleeping through the night. But I think we are figuring it all out.
While I’m LOVING cloth diapers – I am using a disposable at night. Otherwise, she was waking up wet at 1am and wanting to play after she was dry again. This old mommy needs her sleep! So, that – and me getting up once at night to make sure she is still covered up (I think she was getting cold) and we are back to 10 hours of sleep at night! Yippee!!
We have found the best way to give her the nasty, nasty medicine she needs each morning and night. And, she is tolerating the baths I give her in the sink – not loving them, but not screaming!
The boys are still over-the-moon in love. They kiss her at every opportunity – love to hold her whenever I need help – and just generally are VERY excited about her. She really lights up with their attention too!
Well, we need to start school while she is napping so I’d better get off of her. I hope to be better about blogging now too!

Is the medicine for Reflux? Just the nasty description made me think of the stuff Sophie and Keegan had.
Glad things are going so well, even with the adjustment period. Sounds like everything is awesome!!
And yes, I know… Still need to mail the quilt. *hangs head in shame*… It’s been crazy busy here, with Joe being on vacation…
So glad to hear (and see) that things are going well with your new baby girl. I think of you often and pray for you all. Did I miss her name? I keep checking….
