I was bloghoping the other night and found that Julie at Iloveagoodyarn had been interviewed and was offering to interview anyone interested.  I’ve been finding that daily content for January is harder than I thought so I was game!  Here are my questions and answers.  And, if you want me to interview you – just read the instructions at the bottom of this post!

1.  I always enjoy your video clips, where do you find them all?  Do people send them to you?  Do you troll the video clips yourself?

I just stumble upon them as I’m hoping around the internet.  Sometimes someone will have a video on their blog and then that leads me back to Youtube or Godtube where I’ll then find a completely different video that I want to share here! LOL  You will notice I’ve neglected Video Friday…it was becoming a chore and not the fun it had been in the beginning.  There are enough chores in my life – I don’t want my online ‘life’ to be full of chores too! 😉

2.  I believe you’ve mentioned a job before, with a magazine?  What is it?  Are you still participating?
I work – as an independent contractor – for The Old Schoolhouse Magazine.  I’ve been working for them for almost 6 years now and love it!  My official title is Sales Support Manager but I’m sort of a Jill-of-all-trades.  I know HTML and CSS so I help the webmaster, maintain all the advertising on our websites, am the liason between the sales team and the production manager, and pretty much do anything they ask of me!  I love it though at times I’ve found it very hard to keep up it as well as the home and home schooling my kids.
3.  What is the best lesson you’ve learned from God in the last year or two?
Ooh – good question.  In the years since Joshua’s death, the Lord continues to show me that He loves me. In fact, recently I shared this:
…even if He says ‘No’, He will not leave me alone.  I’m never alone.  When Joshua died, God obviously did not answer ‘Yes’ to my heart’s scream to save his life, to bring him back.  But He was there for me. He didn’t save me from the storm, but when I turned to Him, He comforted me.
And He continues to comfort me.  I’m so thankful I’m never alone.
4.  What is the best, most wonderful moment of your homeschooling?
Just yesterday we all went out into the backyard.  J1 held JGirl and was the sun.  J2 was the earth…rotating the sun.  J3 was the moon…rotating the earth which was rotating the sun.  THEN I told them how the moon is always facing the earth the same way!  Chaos!! Thankfully God has it all going well and doesn’t need our family to do it – we’d all be in serious trouble! ;-)  Maybe not our best, most wonderful moment – but definitely a fun lesson we won’t likely forget anytime soon!
5.  I know you use humor to ease the daily grind….tell us something that tickled you pink!

My husband.  Today he sent me this picture from school with the following comments:

Today was Crazy Hat day in the 4th Grade at NCS. Here is mine.

During chapel, the turkey used his legs to clap along and make all the hand motions – cracking up everyone on the platform and any student who turned around to see what was going on.  It was a merry chapel!

So, that was my interview – Thanks Julie it was fun!!!

For those of you who might want to be interviewed, here are the directions:

1. Leave me a comment saying, “Interview me.”
