Individuals. Army units are generally brigades, battalions, companies, platoons and squads. A squad is about 11 soldiers (troops, troopers or troopies). There is actually a unit called a “troop”, which is specifically for and only used by cavalry units. It’s the equivalent of a company. Cavalry units are armored units (tanks). So while possible the Prez is sending tanks to the border, it is more likely he is not. (More than you ever wanted to know? My dh was in the Army for 20 years, the first few of which he was in the cavalry.)
