5 Thoughts on “Our New Pastor

  1. Think I’ll pass on the knitting quiz since I don’t even know how.
Interesting that your new pastor went to the same sem as Eric.
Keep your eyes on the Lord know matter what you have to face each day.
Phil 4:6-7: Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

  2. I didn’t know you had a new pastor. He sounds nice. I saved his blog to go back and read later.

  3. Still here praying for you, Amy!
And maybe I’ll actually have time to figure out my mp3 player this weekend!
What comfort to have such a sure promise from Jesus, an anchor for our soul!
Heb 6:17-20: Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Amy – I just saw the movie “The Last Sin Eater” today. It was so good. I don’t know if you have read any of Francine Rivers’ books. It actually came to Santa Rosa. I know Fairfield is showing it. Anyway, if you get a chance to see it – go.

    Love,
    Jennifer

  5. My computer was “in the shop” most of the day so trying to get caught up now. Still praying!!!!!
Ps 4:8: I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
