I just realized that today is a pretty BIG day for us!
- J1 is home! We toyed with the idea of having him finish this week (Friday is the end of the quarter), but worried he’d just be a distraction to the other kids. So, he’s here! At 9am we’ll start ‘school’ – mainly he’s going to write letters to his friends at school – and at 10am we are going to go try and get more of the curriculum we need! I’m also hoping to squeeze in a trip to the skate park as a sort of ‘hurray-for-homeschooling’ celebration – but the weather says rain!
- I’m going to call the foster care certifier. I plan to say “My name is Amy and you should have gotten paper work from ICPC last week RE our adoption. What can I do to bring my baby girl home as soon as possible?” I think. I don’t know. I’m pretty nervous about it! Please pray for us today! I still haven’t heard from the foster mom – emailed her a week ago, texted her 3 days ago. I’m hoping “Princess” is doing well. I hate not knowing! At least we are getting closer to being ready here at home!
