Since Ruth put her photos on her blog, I thought I should put mine here too! Be sure to read her post too – she had more to say than I did!
Let me just say that this was such a better experience than I expected. All the other times I’ve gone to tea with others, I always felt a bit claustrophobic. This tearoom was so large, so lovely! I really enjoyed the experience! The food is wonderful and the decor is very special! There are several ‘rooms’ – or maybe I should say alcoves where you could have some privacy. Each alcove has it’s own theme which makes them very special!
But I’m getting ahead of myself. When you enter the Tea Room you come upon a neat tea cup booth. I foresee a tea party birthday in my future with Sissy!
And here are some of the alcoves I loved:

Another thing I loved about the Tea Room was the chandeliers – here were some of my favorite:
But let’s not forget the tea! Here was my beautiful tea pot:
Here we all are!
I hope we can go back soon! In fact, I was just talking to another friend today about making a reservation. Linde Lane Tea Room doesn’t have a webpage that I could find but here is their # and hours – 707-693-TEAS(8327) – Wed-Sun 11am-4pm (last seating is 2:30) Call and make a reservation for a good time with some friends!
Your picture of the Princess Room is soo much better than mine!
Wow! My mom would LOVE that place! Very cool!
My friend and I stopped in just to take a peek. WOW!! This is such a beautiful tea room. We are soo excited to go back. Dixon is lucky to have such a special place.

THE TEA ROOM IS ABSOLUTELY OFF THE CHARTS BEAUTIFUL!! WALKING THROUGH YOU JUST KEEP SAYING “WOW” AT EVERYTHING. THE DETAIL AND CRAFTSMANSHIP ARE UNSURPASSED. THE OWNER TRAVELED EVERYWHERE AND DESIGNED AND HAND PICKED EVERY SINGLE THING YOU SEE. IT IS TRULY A LABOR OF LOVE AND GIFT TO THE PEOPLE OF DIXON AND EVERYONE ELSE WHO COMES TO SEE IT. THERE IS ALSO A VERY TALENTED CAKE DECORATOR WHO DOES “SUGAR ART BY FLOOZIE” HER CAKES ARE ONE OF A KIND PIECES OF ART. IF YOU WANT A SPECIAL CAKE FOR A SPECIAL EVENT FLOOZIE IS THE ONE TO SEE.
I’ve been waiting for three years for this tea house. I was delighted as much as any five year old. I was awed by the simple elegance of each space. We could have spent hours just looking. We(a bunch of Moms),were having so much fun, did not want to end our party. We will return many times, and brag to all who will listen. What fun! If your looking for a place to impress, this is it.

OH MY GOSH, We stopped by after hearing that it had finally opened while we were at Every Baking Moment. I have been to many tea houses and I have got to say that I conquer with all the other people who have posted………it took my breath away. We were peaking thru the window, as they were closed, and the owner opened the door so we could take a look and I have not thought of much more since seeing it. We didn’t walk around because they were closed but have since told my tea buddies and I can’t wait until they open this morning so I can call and make reservations for next week. I can’t wait as I live for this.
Thanks for posting the pictures and information about the Tea Room! I live in Davis, and I have been hearing wonderful things about this place! I was looking for a website, but your blog came up on google with great info. and pics. 🙂 Thanks! My sister and I want to treat our mom to the Tea Room for her birthday. It looks like a wonderful place!
I heard about Linda Lane Tea Room from a co-worker who just loved it here. Today I am taking my daughters and one of my daughter’s best friend. We all are excited and can’t wait. I’ll let you know about our experience when we get home.
today i went to Linda Lane Tea Room. my reservation was for two o’clock and our table was not available until two thirty. That was ok. The place was very busy and the waitresses seemed rushed. I believe the atmosphere was not very relaxing today. the service was ok but not very elegant on serving. I believe when you go to tea there is a standard for a tea service and passing plates to people accross other guest at the table is not expected. nice place for a cup of tea and maybe a small scone but definately not worth the price for the service given.
Thanks for the great pictures; our library book discussion group members in Vacaville were saying good things about the Linda Lane Lane Tea Room. I’m going to take my wife–she should love it.
